Thanks for your interest this list. Our purpose is:
To provide updated information, and facilitate dialogue about how the recent prevailing wage law rulings may affect volunteer-based stewardship programs. Specifically volunteer and youth-based programs conducting habitat/creek restoration and open space enhancement activities that are funded through public monies.
This issue has the potential to significantly affect funding and resources for any program that involves volunteers and youth in performing habitat/creek restoration activities which are funded by state money. The volunteer labor form is the form that is being required by organizations who have recently been awarded grant funding through the CalFED/Prop 13 monies. |
