| Purpose: |
This group is for those who are ALREADY totally committed, both practically and philosophically, to unhindered, unassisted childbirth. This group is not for those who are still researching unassisted birth and need more information to make a decision. There are other groups devoted to that purpose. We provide a safe place for families who have chosen unassisted birth to discuss their choices. We provide support, not arguments. If you are a doctor, nurse, midwife, or doula, please do not apply. We do not believe in assisted birth under any circumstances, and we support the unassisted birther by relating helpful experiences from those who have done it. Most importantly, we believe that the only way to have a safe and satisfying birth is for the mother to trust her intuition. |
